Bio

A grass-fed Midwesterner from outside Chicago, Kevin James Hague was drawn to the sound of a sparse guitar and a good voice at a very early age from his older brother’s CSNY and James Taylor records. He further commandeered his brother’s guitar in junior high and played in bands throughout high school and college. While building a career in the wine business and starting a family, his insatiable love of music only grew, and Kevin started playing around Napa County in 2017, both as a solo performer and part of the bluegrass band, Dirty Old Town.

While he sings everything from Pop to Punk in private, the limitless landscape of Folk and Americana remains his favorite as he enjoys relaying relics and unconventional covers from the likes of Mississippi John Hurt, Doc Watson, and Townes Van Zandt
